Privacy Policy

blanc Inc. (hereafter "the company") ensures appropriate protection of the important personal information of clients, suppliers, people who provided personal information when accessing the company’s recruitment information, and all other stakeholders (hereafter collectively referred to as "individuals"). Individuals may use our services at all times with confidence, knowing that the company implements best practices in managing personal information based on its ISO27001 certification.

1.Definition of personal information

  • Personal information is defined as information provided to the company by an individual that could be used to identify that particular individual. The information may be in the form of a name, address, phone number or email address.

2. Acquisition and use of personal information

  • The company acquires personal information by fair and lawful means for a clearly stated purpose of use, and uses that information within the scope of that purpose. However, statement of a purpose of use may be omitted where the purpose of use is clear, such as when exchanging business cards in accordance with general business custom or requesting a client to submit documentation.

3. Purpose of use of personal information

  • Personal information may be used for the following purposes:
  • 1)To confirm details of or respond to queries, or to confirm opinions.
  • 2)To provide services or after-sales service in response to an application or request.
  • 3)To perform work for or to contact or respond to clients (or potential clients), or to manage their requests in the general course of business.
  • 4)To provide or propose products or services to clients (or potential clients).
  • 5)For the execution of business where the company has entrusted the handling of personal information to that business (e.g., where a contractor manages campaign entries).
  • 6)To communicate with, respond to or manage outsourcing agents in the course of business (e.g., when running auditions or contacting performers).
  • 7)To send or distribute information about employment or to manage staff following their appointment.
  • 8)To transport and deliver communication materials or gifts.
  • 9)In the production and release of statistical materials that do not specify individuals (personal information that distinguishes particular individuals will be omitted).

4. Provision of personal information to third parties

  • The company does not provide personal information to third parties other than contracted outsourcers without permission of the individual, except where such an exception to this is recognized as legal. Such legal exceptions are as follows:
  • 1)As required by law.
  • 2)Where it is necessary to protect life, body or assets of a person (including a corporate entity), and it would be difficult to gain the individual's consent.
  • 3)Where there is a particular need to improve public order or to ensure child safety and when it would be difficult to gain the individual's consent.
  • 4)Where cooperation with a government organization, local authority or a person authorized by such a body is required in order that legally required tasks can be executed, and where there is concern that gaining consent from that individual may hinder execution of the particular task.

5. Protection and management of personal information

  • Safety measures in place prevent leakage, loss of or damage to personal information. These measures are subject to regular review, revision and ongoing improvement in an effort to prevent incidents. Prompt action will be taken to solve each issue including setting measures to prevent such issues from arising.

6. Process for dealing with requests for disclosure, etc.

  • All requests made by an individual or a representative pertaining to personal information held by the company for notification of purpose of use; disclosure; revision, addition, deletion of contents; suspension or cessation of use or suspension of provision to a third party will be dealt with an appropriate manner. Please be informed that, personal information handled for the company under an outsourcing contract and that the company has no direct authority to disclose is not included in the above.

7. Management of personal information on websites

  • All of the various inquiry forms that appear on the company website are equipped with SSL encryption to ensure users can feel confident about accessing the site.
